I was really excited to work with hello canvas. The twins had been asking me for ages for a picture of the kittens to put on their wall. When I saw the HD Metal pictures from Hello Canvas I knew we had the perfect picture. The photo of the cat sitting in a pile of Beanie Boos is so colourful and I hoped it would look great printed on metal.
The finished result is really stunning. The colours look so bright and vivid and the finish is smooth and sleek. It has a high shine to the surface which makes the finish look so professional and sleek. It is a very different look from a traditional canvas. This would suit holiday photos and landscapes really well and there is a wide variety of different sizes available. The material used is scratch-resistant and waterproof so it can even be used outside.
The thing which really makes the picture for me is the back. The actual surface is so thin, I was worried it would just look flat against the wall. The back has a raised metal surface which really gives depth to the picture. There is also a clever hook device on the back so you can pin the picture safely to the wall. It slides across so that you can get it in exactly the right place.
The picture is 12x16 which costs just £49. Hello Canvas is an easy website to use. You simply upload the photo you want in the finish you would like. I love the look of the photos on wood and the personalised phone cases. You can even get push pin maps. The picture arrived quickly and was really well wrapped and we were all delighted with the quality. This would be a lovely, unique gift for someone. It really finishes off the twins’ room.
