I’ve been feeling less than cheerful this week. After a lovely week away at my parents I’ve been trying to remember how I do things. How exactly do I cope? It was a lovely rest being away – no cooking cleaning or washing. Although strangely it didn’t feel like I was doing less – I guess because we were so busy. I’m starting to get into the swing of things now. Next week we will be back into a routine which will make things a bit easier.

 1. My girls make me laugh. I came in earlier and Twin 2 was sitting on her sister’s lap. They stayed like that for about 10 minutes. It didn’t look very comfy but they were happy.

2. First day of school is over. We were not late. We were not stressed. Everyone had tidy hair – even me (shock!). My daughter clutched my hand tightly as she went in but settled quickly. Her teacher said she was very chatty and she came out full of news about her day and what she had got up to. It’s a big step for her and for all of us – but I think we’re ready.

3. We built the best lego tower – ever. It collapsed about 4 times but I managed to get a photo of it first.
