This week I dipped my toe into the world of blogging events. I went to a meal for a fabulous company just launched in the UK from Australia called tinyme. The company deals in premium quality, designer personalised products for kids such as wall charts, bags, name labels and stationary. As someone who can’t walk past a stationary shop without heading home with a bulging bag of swag this suited me down to the ground.

Oooooh, aaaaaah!

Tinyme is run by three young dads, who have 13 cute kids under 9 to test out their products and feature in their ad campaigns. The company has been trading successfully in Australia for a five years under the name mooo. The guys at Tinyme are incredibly passionate about their company. This means an attention to detail which ensures quality products. They were excited about every little detail, from the logo on the zips to the striped lining inside the bags. They revel in their geekiness and fondness for technology which ensures their wall labels are woven in such a way they will not come apart when it is re-stuck.

Should someone tell them it’d be cheaper to hire models.

As part of the launch in the UK I was invited to a meal at the Oundle Mill on the River Nene near Peterborough. Not only did I get to view some great products but it was fantastic meeting some actual real life bloggers and match faces to blog names.

Having worked with mummy bloggers in Australia tinyme know their market. At the end of a wonderful evening socialising and eating, we were given a few products to take home. You know you’re onto a winner when you get a collective gasp of delight about the contents of the goody bags. My favourite product was the wall stickers and I have my eye on the height chart to match.
