Last week, my linky was a bit of a fiasco. I failed to get it up and running until the evening. Some have nefariously claimed this was just an X factor stylee publicity stunt. However, it wasn’t I was just a bit rubbish. Anyway it has got me thinking how often should I do it? 15 people linked up the first week which is brilliant but has probably given me unrealistic expectations.
I still love the idea of a place where people can share their bad days and get a bit of sympathy. I think blogging is great for getting out a bit of angst – having a moan or working through an issue. Sometimes those posts can go a bit unnoticed so to have a place where you can get a few comments must be a good idea. I also like the idea of having a link where you don’t have to write a specific post – just link one up when it fits. The only problem is most people only write a post which would fit every so often therefore they aren’t going to link every week.
So I’m starting to wonder if I should just do the linky once a month (you know – a bit like PMT). The only thing is would people remember? Is it better to get five people linking up every week or 15 people on one day? So I need a bit of advice really. How often should I be doing it?
While I ponder that, I’m off to make a cuppa. Anyone else fancy one? While you’re there put you’re feet up and link any posts about having a bad day you have, or leave a comment if you’re a non blogger. I’ll be back in a bit with a pot of steaming tea, a slice of cake and some comment love.
