Welcome to my first ever
The Sunday Showcase
Where your child centered ideas are the stars of the show!
Today I’m really excited because I’m joining the Sunday Showcase team. This is a linky I have taken part in lots of times, although I was always late as I was confused that it’s the Sunday showcase so I always tried to join in on a Sunday and really it goes live on a Saturday. It was set up by Bern at Mum to Two Posh lil Divas and when her co-host Classified: Mom decided to retire from blogging she invited other bloggers to join her in running and promoting.

The Sunday Showcase is now being hosted on SIX blogs!
Mom to 2 Posh Lil Divas
Here Come the Girls – (me!)
Inspiration Laboratories
Make Do & Friend
The Iowa Farmer’s Wife
Train Up a Child
This means more posts can be featured so make sure you check each of the blogs to see what posts have been chosen.

So without further ado here is my first features for the Sunday Showcase. Yay!
The Showcase Features
Taken from last week’s posts
I visited lots of links from last week but was a little nervous of leaving a comment before it became official that I was on the team. My picks for this week were simply things which I want to do with the children.
I am very inspired by all the amazing play dough posts that have been around this past month and want to try more. My girls adore tea parties and the combination of coffee and play dough in this post from my co-host The Iowa Farmer’s Wife looks right up their street.
I love this idea for a Rainbow Salt tray from Learning 4 Kids. It’s so simple yet looks so beautiful and I’m sure any child would love to play with it. Perfect for practicing letters or numbers or just having a lovely artistic time.
This post from Creative Playhouse is definitely on my must do list for the twins. They love pom poms and what a cute and colourful way to practice some fine motor skills. Perfect for keeping toddlers happy and occupied during some down time.
Finally we’ve been really busy here this week as it’s been my eldest fifth birthday. She had a family tea party on her birthday and is having a magic themed party at the weekend for her school friends. We have been busy making cakes but I haven’t had time to post about any of them. In the meantime I put together a post filled with all my favourite fairy ideas both from my blog and some of my favourite ones. There are craft, literacy, gardening, cooking, and reviews, as well as lots of funny parenting anecdotes mainly about that pesky tooth fairy. It was great fun to put together and I think there is something for everyone – well if they like fairies!
