There’s a Monster in My Fridge
by Caryl Hart and Deborah Allwright
Thi is the perfect book for Halloween. it would make a great present instead of sweets. It has a spooky monster theme but is really funny. It would be brilliant for children who are scared of monsters as it shows them in really ridiculous situations, like a vampire in his underwear.
In this book, there are monsters hiding everywhere. The book has clever split pages. It is great for predicting what is hiding behind the pages. This is a really important skill for children developing their reading. It also has a fun rhyme to join in with, another essential skill for children. This is a really fun book to read aloud as you can do lots of scary voices. It is a fun book we will definitely read again.
