I’ve avoided having a birthday party for the twins for the last couple of years. It always seems so stressful and expensive. However this year I’ve found the answer. A Wacky warehouse party is so much fun for the kids, without the stress for the parents and it is really good value for money too. The twins loved their wacky Warehouse party and I was so impressed with how easy it was to organise and run. The lovely staff did everything for us we literally just had to turn up.
Everything about the party is carefully thought out. You even receive a set of invitiations and thank you cards. These have a voucher on for free play. I love the cute colour in envelopes.
The twins party was at the Wacky Warehouse at Earlswood Lakes. It is a really lovely spot with a big pub garden with a fun outdoor play area for the kids. There is also a lovely walk around the lakes if you have more time. Another bonus, is that it is part of the Reservoir pub, the adults at the party can go next door and have a meal while they wait. So we had a lot of happy adults as well as happy kids!
Wacky Warehouse has 75 outlets nationwide and is the UK’s leading soft play and activity centre for children aged up to 12 years old (under 1.45m), and a winner in the Tommy’s Awards (Best Children’s Activity Provider 2016). We had an Ultimate Party Package which includes all these things:

• Premium buffet

• Premium party bag

The twins went straight for the face paitning. They both decided to be cats. As you can see they were really happy.
They girls enjoyed their hour of play. There are lots of ball pools, slides, tunnels and swings in the Wacky Warehouse play area. It definitely burns off lots of energy and is a great party if you are worried it will rain. There is an under 5s area for younger visitors. I like the fact that you can see what the children are doing all the time.
There is a little arcade area with prize every time games.
After the hour of play the children have their party food. They have a dedicated party area with their name on the sign. This is lovely and colourful and looks fun. You get a dedicated party host who organises everyone and hands out the food and drink.
We were really amazed but how much food there was. The invites said a buffet but the children had sandwiches, hot dogs, pizza, nuggets and chips as well as salad items. they also all got a pudding of jelly or ice cream. They loved it and after all the exercise tucked into the food enthusiastically.
The parents also received a platter of food. This was the same as served in the restaurant and definitely kept them going too. It definitely helps that you can get coffee and tea while you are waiting as well.
After the food comes the cake. Again this is provided by Wacky Warehouse which is another less thing to worry about. After singing Happy Birthday this was cut up and put into the party bags.
After the food there was a visit from the Wacky mascot. Uncle Bob was excited to meet him too! There were also some party games from the host which involved lots of running around and shrieking.
For me, this was the easiest party I have ever held. A lot of that is down to the staff, who couldn’t have been more helpful. There were a couple of hiccups on the day. I had put the wrong time on the invites and the staff sorted it out for me letting us hold the party at the time I had put without creating any fuss. This could have been a huge disaster but they sorted it out without any drama. One of the children fell over and another’s tooth fell out. Both incident were delt with swiftly and the tooth was even parcelled up so it wouldn’t get lost. I really couldn’t fault the management on the day. We all had a lovely time and the twins were left saying it was the best party ever. They defininitely want the same again next year.
