I was planning a fun gift for the teachers and teaching assistants last year when I thought of the idea of a last week survival kit. teachers get lots of things on the last day but actually, that last week where the children are hyper, they are exhausted and there is still so much to do is the time when they need a little pick me up.
I had the girl’s teachers to buy for as well as my own lovely teaching assistants, who support me so much through the year and are vital to the job I do in class. I thought it would be easy to buy in bulk and make up some gift boxes, for some little pick-me-ups during that last week of term.
I don’t think it matters what you put in these boxes as I’m sure they will be much appreciated. You can make it match your budget and be as little or big as you want. I chose some fluffy socks, bubble bath, hot chocolate, a Christmas candle, chocolates and wine and of course headache tablets – definitely needed for all the excited screaming.
The thing the teachers liked the best was the handy Curver Box I put everything in. What teacher doesn’t like a cute box to store all their bits and bobs?
To finish off the gift box I added a ribbon and some cute tags which you can print off for free here:
This is an easy present and one which I’m sure your child’s teacher will appreciate.
