My girls really loved the TV show Project Mc2. I love the fact it had positive female role models who all love Science and show girls that they can achieve anything. They have seen several adverts for products based on the show and want all of them! When we were asked to review the Project Mc2 A.D.I.S.N. Journal I knew they would jump at the chance.
A.D.I.S.N. is one of Charlotte’s favourite things about the show and while she was watching it she kept saying how much she would like one for real. Now she can really have it!
The Journal looks just like the one from the TV show. It even comes with cute stickers so you can decorate it how you want. This journal is a plastic box disguised to look like a notebook.
The Project Mc2 A.D.I.S.N. Journal only costs £19.99 but comes with lots of fun secret spy equipment. Charlotte particularly liked the bracelet which is actually a secret key for opening the journal. They know children very well because there is also a secret button on the side of the journal for if you lose the bracelet. Something I’m sure we will be using. When you open the journal there are two messages which greet you which sound just like in the TV show. There is also a NOV8 missions notebook and invisible ink pen and UV light tool.
Inside the box, there is a space to hide your phone or Ipod, that obviously isn’t included in the set. You can download the game onto any apple device and feel like you are really interacting with A.D.I.S.N.
The invisible ink pen and UV light are of course essential tools for any spy. It is lots of fun to write secret messages for your friends which only they can read. We had to be careful putting the lid back on the invisible ink pen as it got a bit squashed, luckily you could still use it.
This is a really fun toy for any fans of Project MC2. Charlotte carries it with her wherever she goes and is making notes on everyone’s movements. This has really sparked her imagination and she now wants to be a spy when she grows up.
Disclaimer: We were sent the journal for the purposes of this review.
