My girls love sensory play, anything slimy or messy keeps them entertained for hours. They were delighted to try two fun packs from Zimpli Kids. We were sent the Glitter Slime Baff and Snoball Battle Pack. These packs cost around a fiver and are a great way to keep the kids entertained.
Glitter Slime Baff
The slime craze doesn’t seem to be abating any time soon. What could be more fun than a whole bath full of slime?
Glitter Slime Baff is a packet which can be poured into a full bath. You could also use it in a sink or a sensory bin. Only one of the twins wanted to get in the bath full of slime.
The mix we tried was glittery pink. It makes the bath a lovely colour with a fruity scent. The water is gloopy and slimy but doesn’t stick all over you. It was great fun and would be a brilliant way to get a reluctant child to have a bath.
I was really pleased to see the bath dissolved easily after we were finished with it and didn’t leave any marks. The girls want to try all the other types of bath from Zimpli kids. There are different colours as well as is crackle baff and gelli baff all of which sound equally fun.
Snoball Battle Pack
Snow play is always fun, it;s just a shame it only snows once or twice a year. Now with the Snoball Battle Pack you can have snow in August.
Even making the snow is fun. It comes in a powder which when you add the correct amount of water turns into fake snow.
The texture is really fun for kids. It is a not exactly like real snow, more gooey and slimy but just as fun. It even feels cold to the touch.
The thing which surprised me about the Snowball battle Pack was how good it smelt. It makes it a really immersive sensory experience.
You can play with this in so many ways. The girls played for hours hiding their plastic toys inside and recreating scenes from Frozen. It would be great in a sensory bin at school with lots of animals.
You can also use the snow for snow ball fights. The mix is 100% Degradable and you can easily wash it away when you’ve finished playing.
I will definitely be investing in more packs of Snoball Battle Pack to use at home and at school. It is quick and easy to make and so much fun.
