My girls all love small collectable figures and so were really excited to hear about the new toy Glimmies. These are a little bit special as not only are they cute fantasy characters they also have a magical quality about them. They are the perfect addition for imaginative play, Glimmies Polaris have a Polar theme, which is great for this time of year.
The Glimmies Polaris come in lots of different sets. You can buy a single pack for around £6.30, so a good price for a pocket money toy. We were sent a variety of different packs to review.
Glimmies Polaris Glimgloo
A lovely set to start your collection is the Glimmies Polaris Glimgloo. In this set, you get a cute polar snow fairy. There are 4 different colours available you could collect a few and have a little snow village. You can connect the Glimgoo buildings together.
Glimmies Polaris Triple Pack – Diana Lindia & Skylie
This pack of three Glimmies, gives you three new toys to play with. The magical quality of these toys is that they light up when the breeze blows on them. Simply blow onto their heads and the Glimmies light up. Blow again and the change colour. It is really lovely.
These would be lovely for a child who is scared of the dark as they could blow it when they felt scared to feel better.
Glimmies Polaris Glimsled
The Glimmies have an adorable friend a polar bear cub who pulls them on their sled. This set also comes with a cute Glimmies figure and the Glimsled. You can detach the polar bear and play with him on his own.
Glimmies Polaris Twin Pack
In the twin pack, you get two Glimmies Polaris figures to play with. The Glimmies all come with 3 batteries so they are ready to use. It would be lovely to create a wintery small world for these toys using artificial snow. They would be lovely to play with at Christmas time.
In the set, you get a mini catalogue showing all the toys in the series to collect. There are 22 to collect. You could also get some of the Rainbow friends, for a summery feel and Aquaria sets for an underwater style.
These are lovely toys for children who enjoy magic and imaginative play. They would be great for Christmas. You can buy Glimmies Polaris here.
