Aquabeads Hello Kitty Fashion Set Review

Aquabeads

We were sent a Hello Kitty Fashion Set right near the start of the Summer. Molly put it straight to the text and really loved this set. It was perfect for a 7 year old and she particularly loved the Hello Kitty designs as they are great for children this age.

Aquabeads

We tried Aquabeads before when Molly was little and she found them a bit fiddly. Although they do say suitable for younger children I think you need to be at least 6 to have the fine motor skills to be able to do this.

The set comes with everything you need. there is a container full of beads, a tool to transfer the beads and a board to put them on. It also comes with templates so you can make some cute Hello Kitty characters. Molly could do this completely on her own and didn’t need any help.

The big plus for me was just how long she spent making Hello Kitty pictures using the Aquabeads. It kept her happy for a couple of hours over a couple of days and she was keen to make every picture in the set without getting bored. It was definitely worth the money!

Once you have made your design then you just spay them with water using a bottle included in the set and leave it to dry. The beads fuse together to make a hard little picture. It is really clever and the best thing is you don’t need to iron anything, the children can make them completely themselves. The finished designs look really great. You could make them into jewellery or into a picture. We are going to use them to make cards for Molly’s friends as they are so cute.

The Hello Kitty Fashion Set costs just £14.99, Amazon. I think it is a great set for something which provides so many hours of fun. It is also mess free which is great if you have children who love crafting but you don’t want to spend hours tidying up after them. We will definitely be buying more in the future.
