Crazy Soap – Review and Giveaway

March 5, 2012

This week we had lots of fun testing Crazy Soap and loved it so much we have some to give away. I was initially a little worried about this product. I have a lovely cast iron bath which I recently spent lots of time polishing back to tip top condition. I had heard some horror stories about bath products staining baths. Luckily this is not like that. We tried three products in the range, body paint, bath foam and gel and they all washed away without needing any scrubbing.
Of course Molly didn’t care about the state of my bathroom, she just wanted to see if they were fun. The first product we tried was the goo. Crazy Soap Bath Goo (£2.99) is soap that looks like yellow goo. Scoop it and squidge it under running water and turn it into fruity fragranced bubbles for bath time fun that cleans kids as they play. This was really sticky and gloopy and felt surprisingly thick to the touch. It would be a great product to give to a hardened soap dodger as they couldn’t help but play with it.
Crazy Soap Paint (£2.49) is a soap that’s a paint and it’s available in blue or red. You can paint one hand blue and one hand red and then rub together to make purple before washing off to reveal clean skin underneath. The body paint was lots of fun to play with. I did wonder whether something so brightly coloured would actually work as soap but it certainly did the job leaving my daughter’s skin shiny and clean. The consistency is a bit like finger paints and quite gloopy. It has a foam end so it’s easy for a young child to paint their body and then wash off. It’s a very silly product and a fun way to get children to enjoy bath time.

Crazy Soap Foam (£2) is soap in a can that can be squirted, moulded and bounced into any shape. You can get everyone to use their imagination and try animals and funny shapes before using it to get squeaky clean. The foam was my favourite product. It is a bit like shaving foam in consistency. We tried white and green. The white foam looked like clouds. The green makes the bath water turn a lovely sparkling colour. It was a little difficult for my daughter to use the foam herself but she loved the results and was very reluctant to come out of the bath. You can mould it a little bit and she spent a long time trying to make it look like a forest of trees.

All these products have a lovely fruity smell and are mild and gentle on the skin. We both thought they were great fun and definitely made bath time more exciting. They are perfect for children aged 3 and up.

Crazy Soap is available from Tesco, Morrisons and Lloyds Health Village
