Dominos Pizza Party – Review

pizza party

Last weekend we had a mexican Pizza Party to mark the children going back to school. The weather was lovely so we had it in my sister in laws garden, which is big enough for all the family.

We ordered our take away pizza online from Dominos. I found the online ordering really helpful when you have a houseful of noisy children – I hate to phone during the day as I can’t concentrate on what I’m saying. Kids are always happy playing until you pick a phone up.

The ordering process online was really quick and easy and I liked the fact you could pay with Paypal.  When you order online it’s easy to see how much you are getting and you can change your order as you go along – perfect for a larger group of people. The pizza was delivered really quickly, within fifteen minutes, which was brilliant as the children were starving after playing outside all day. The other bonus with ordering online was that it tracks the order as it is being prepared so you can guess how long you have to wait. Great if you are impatient like me.

Pizza

We ordered a Mexican pizza, two cheese and tomato pizzas for the children and a customised pizza with chicken and mushroom. They were all really delicious. The Mexicano pizza was particularly nice. It had just the right amount of spice for me and had a lovely tang to it. You can order chicken, beef or vegetarian – so there is something for everyone. As you can see by the pictures, the pizza went down well. It had been half eaten before  I could even get a good photo.

piñata

We were sent a lovely party pack by the kind people at Dominos so we could really enjoy the party. The children loved the colourful piñata, stuffed with sweets. The older children got stuck in to hitting it. The twins were a bit scared at first but when they saw it raining sweets they soon got in there. All the children came away with pockets stuffed full of sweets – a brilliant end to the day!

I can see this as being an annual treat to celebrate the start of school. Maybe next year I’ll even get some of the sets before the kids get there.

Disclosure: We were reimbursed the cost of the pizza and were sent a party pack. The views expressed remain my own and are an honest reflection of the products
