Dora mermaid

The girls were so excited to see this Dora The Explorer swimming mermaid doll from Fisher Price.  She has a really friendly happy face and they instantly loved her long, dark hair. The twins love the fact he is a mermaid and think her tail is “so beautiful”.

The Dora doll is meant for ages 3+ and is made of strong plastic and comes with a beautiful comb. It is designed to be put in the bath and would be great for any children who hate bath time as they will have so much fun playing with her in the tub.

The best feature for the twins is that the hair changes colour. When you unwrap the doll it has a purple streak in its hair but when you place it in warm water it changes to pink. You can then transform it back again using cold water. The colours are really vivid and show up so well against her dark hair.

The twins love testing this out. They use the comb to transform a bit of her hair at a time. As you can see they really like playing with her with a bowl of water and it would be a fun toy to get out on a Summers day. The toy also flaps its flippers when you turn the shell necklace, although this doesn’t make Dora swim

This is a fun toy for any Dora fans. It costs £22 so is great as a birthday present.
