Easter Treats from Hotel Chocolat

March 18, 2016

What says Easter more than a delivery from Hotel Chocolat? I have to say that it does not feel like Easter is in just over a weeks time. It is so early this year no one seems in the mood for eggs and bunnies. Well unless they are made of chocolate.

The distinctive black and white packaging instantly elevates this to a stylish gift. It is the perfect present to take to an Easter party.

Eggs on Parade

We were sent the Eggs on Parade to try. These looks and taste wonderful and are the same size and shape as a quail’s egg. There are four different flavours. Caramel Praline, Blood Orange, Raspberry Supermilk and Salted Caramel. This means there is something for everyone. I particularly loved the salted caramel as I love the combination of salty and sweet flavours.

This set of tasty treats costs £7 and is perfect for someone who wants a lot of taste for not too many calories. You could save them up and have one a day to make that last.

The Eggs on Parade is definitely for the grown-ups. It is far too nice for children. To be fair, I would say the same of the Big City Bunny. Except he is ridiculously cute, with a Hotel Chocolat bow tie and fluffy bunny tail.

Big City Bunny

The Big City Bunny is made from 40% hollow milk chocolate with details in dark and white chocolate. It tastes as good as it looks. The chocolate is smooth and creamy and melts in the mouth. The bunny costs £7.50. The perfect present for any little people in your life, that is if you can part with him.

After enjoying these tasty chocolate treats I’ve changed my mind. Maybe it isn’t too early for easter after all.
