The Lego Batman Movie Activity Books

We are really looking forward to watching The Lego Batman Movie. It looks so funny and what could be better than the combination of Lego and Batman? The girls have been promised a trip to the cinema to watch it during half term but meanwhile we were sent some amazing activity books from Egmont to keep them going until then. These books would be really brilliant if you have a reluctant reader and writer who loves Batman. They are colourful and fun with just about the right amount of words per page so it doesn’t look intimidating. There is so much to do in these activity books they are perfect for keeping your little superheros busy over the half term holidays.

The LEGO® BATMAN MOVIE: I Am Batman! The Dark Knight’s Activity Journal

This is a great book to read after a hard day fighting crime. I love the size of this book because it looks like a chapter book. A lot of younger children are desperate to read chapter books but not quite at that reading level yet.

The Lego Batman Movie Activity Books

This is a wonderful book for encouraging creativity as there are lots of little activities to get you writing and drawing. You can learn how to draw Batman and to design super villains. There are also stickers to use at the back. The LEGO® BATMAN MOVIE: I Am Batman! The Dark Knight’s Activity Journal (Lego® DC Comics) costs around £4. With so much to do in it this is a really good price.

The LEGO® BATMAN MOVIE: Choose Your Super Hero Doodle Activity Book

This is a similar book with a larger format. There are lots of drawing ideas and quizzes to test your knowledge of Batman. You can learn how to draw the Joker or use your imagination to draw Robin’s dreams or design Batman some a new bat mobile. This book really encourages children to be creative and have their own ideas. The LEGO® BATMAN MOVIE: Choose Your Super Hero Doodle Activity Book (Lego® DC Comics) costs around £5 and would give you a new drawing challenge for every day in the holidays.

The LEGO® BATMAN MOVIE: Chaos in Gotham City (Activity book with exclusive Batman minifigure)

This book costs just £3.50 which is less than a lot of magazines and comes packed with fun activities. There are lots of mazes and puzzles to complete, as well as comic strips and stories to read. The book comes with an exclusive mini figure: tartan Batman.

This looks like such a funny part of the film as Batman has a whole wardrobe of different outfits to wear. The girls thought the pink fairy batman looks hilarious! the mini figure is a perfect representation of the tartan Batman and comes complete with a sword, hood and cape. This is great if you are a mini figure collector.

The girls thought this scene was so funny that they instantly recreated it. Of course they found a pink dress for Batman to wear. The LEGO® BATMAN MOVIE: Chaos in Gotham City (Activity book with exclusive Batman minifigure) (Lego® DC Comics) is a really fun book which would be great on a long car journey as you have the figure to play with as well.

The LEGO® BATMAN MOVIE: Ready, Steady, Stick!

This book would be suitable for children aged 6+, although I think younger children would love all the stickers too. In the book there are over 200 stickers and the pages are shiny so you can reuse them. The stickers feature all your favourite characters from the movies including good guys Batman and Robin and super-villains like The Joker, Catwoman, Mr. Freeze, Harley Quinn, Two-Face, Poison Ivy and Scarecrow. The paper is really good quality, meaning that the stickers don’t tear easily. You can use the stickers to recreate the battles. . there are a couple of puzzles to complete as well. The LEGO® BATMAN MOVIE: Ready, Steady, Stick! (Lego® DC Comics) is a good book for a rainy afternoon. Costing just under £6 this is a lovely present for a Batman fan.
