Liebster award a reason to be cheerful

December 2, 2011

What am I cheerful for today? Well mainly getting through the day. Some days that’s all I can ask. Spreading a little bit of happiness was knowing I had this award to write about tonight. I have been very slow in writing this post. However it has nothing to do with how happy I am about it. I was lucky enough to be given it by two lovely lovely bloggers.

Older Single Mum who write amusingly and openly about her life and is trying to challenge the perceptions of single mums

and That’s the baby game who gives the best super happy loony smile I have ever seen. Her blog is fun and fab. Make sure you check them both out.

The conditions are to thank the blogger who gave you the award, then share the blogs you love.

Leibster Award Rules
1. Thank my Liebster Blog Award presenter (s) on my blog
2. Link back to the blogger (s) who awarded you
3. Copy & paste the award to your blog
4. Nominate 5 blogs to receive the award
5. Let them know of their nomination by leaving a comment on their blog
Finally, try to pass the award on to blogs that are fairly new and have less than 200 followers.

So some of the blogs I love are:

Midlife single mum blogs all the way from Jerusalem. She writes so engagingly about life as a single mum and has some fantastic recipes.

Mummy Mishaps
This is a refreshingly honest account of life as a mother. I can’t wait to join in the I love cake linky.

I Love Cake

Actually Mummy is so funny. GG reminds me of my daughter so much. Her voice is very authentic and I don’t know how she maintains it.

Actually Mummy...

Wot So Funee?

The really beautiful blog Dear Beautiful Boy I would love a blog and a house so tidy and pristine as this one. Unfortunately I don’t think that’s ever going to happen. I can dream though!

The very brave and honest Boo and me.

Like her I saw a program about the Joanne Bingley foundation. It moved me to tears and then I forgot about it. She didn’t and has created something really rather wonderful.
