We were really excited when we started seeing the adverts for Monsters Inc. It’s great to have a film kids and adults will enjoy. We were sent a toddler dining set from Munchkin which is perfect for little monsters to eat their food.
The set is really bright and colourful and really appealing to children. It features the twins’ favourite character from the films, Mike Wazowski. The set includes a plate which is divided into three sections and so is great for fussy eaters. It has chunky cutlery and a nicely rounded bowl. It costs £8.99 which is a great price and has lasted well in the wash. I think it is a great set for children just starting to eat on their own and will make them want to sit still and finish their meal.
We were sent tickets so we could go and see the Monsters University film. The girls were really excited to see Mike and Sully on the cinema magazine.
We all enjoyed tghe film. The twins are only just 3 but they sat through the whole thing with only a few fidgets. Monsters University is a prequel movie showing Mike and Sully meeting for the first time and not getting on. It was more predictable than the first film but kids don’t mind about that of course. The best part is watching all the different monsters – we liked the terrifying Dean and the teammates from Oozma Kappa. It was perfect summer holiday entertainment and the whole family had a great time.
The girls took their new drinks cups along to the cinema. I was impressed with how well made the beakers are. The lids click into place which means there are no spills. I don’t normally like bringing children’s beakers with me because they usually leak in my bag but these didn’t.
As you can see the twins loved their new Monsters University beakers and have taken them everywhere with them.
