Playmobil Advent Calendar Review

Playmobil advent calendar

As soon as I heard the exciting news we had been chosen to be Playmobil Playologists and test out all the latest toys I thought about the Playmobil Advent Calendar. I saw them last year and really wanted to get them for the girls. I don’t really like starting the day with chocolate and this seems a lovely alternative. So when I had an email saying expect a little something in November I was hoping it was an advent calendar. Playmobil advent calendar

The one which arrived was even better than expected. It is perfect for the girls as it is the Princess Wedding Advent Calendar. As soon as they saw the box there were gasps of delight. Every day you open a door to receive a new toy and build up a scene to play with. The box is a good size to put on the mantlepiece and looks really exciting. Although it isn’t Christmas themed there are stars for each day. If you want a more traditional Christmas scene then you can also get one with Father Christmas.

You also get a card scene to put your figures on which I have assembled ready. I had a sneaky look at the first box and it was a lovely Princess character – a great way to start off the set. There is also a lovely poster to go on their wall.

The calendar costs £17.99 which is obviously a lot more than a chocolate calendar. However this is a set which will last. Playmobil is great quality and has such attention to detail that it is worth the money. Although they are small I think the girls are going to be delighted with what they receive every day. I will update this post with pictures when our set is complete.

There are several other sets available: Forest WinterWonderland, Police and Pony Farm so something for every Playmobil fan.
