Shoesie Tuesday at Hotter Stratford

May 27, 2016

If you are looking for an example of how to work with bloggers then I would recommend you take a look at Hotter Shoes. I arrived at Hotter Stratford feeling very tired on a Tuesday evening after a visit from the Ofsted inspectors. I had thought about cancelling but I’m so pleased I didn’t. It was actually lovely to get away from work and talk about something else in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. I always feel the same whenever i walk into a Hotter shop. You are given the time to shop at your leisure and never rushed even if, like me, you try on a million shoes and cannot make up your mind.

I hadn’t been in the Hotter Stratford store but it felt really cosy and friendly. Even though it is a smaller shop it has an excellent range of shoes, which are displayed in a really clever way to maximise space yet make everything easy to find.

The staff at Hotter are so knowledgeable about shoes. It is definitely worth listening to their advice. I went that evening with the plan to get these lovely Molly sandals. I liked the colour and pretty flower detail and thought they would be great for work or home. I was advised that they wouldn’t be the best for my wider fitting feet and was given a large selection of more appropriate shoes to try. It was definitely worth listening to them because I couldn’t be happier with the shoes I did pick

The thing I like about Hotter shoes (other than the comfort factor) is that each style of shoe comes in lots of different colours. I love my shaker shoes and wear them every day for work for the last three years and would happily buy them in every colour. The new season shoes come in lots of pretty pastel colours which is fantastic if you are trying to find something to match your outfit.

I thought the displays at Hotter Stratford were beautifully put together. I was really drawn to the Mabel trainers, even though I needed sandals not trainers. I could quite happily have bought all three pairs on display here.

What these shoes add is a little splash of colour and fun to your outfit.

As well as shoes, there is also a good selection of bags, purses, wallets, and gloves. These come in matching colours to the shoes so yo0u can find something to pull your whole look together.

If you are looking for sandals for Spring and Summer then there was so much choice. These Minorca sandals would look great on holiday with a matching tan.

It was a very hard decision but I finally chose some lovely soft green Leeward sandals and used my blogger discount to buy these denim Mabel trainers. Full review to follow!

All the other bloggers were very happy with their choices. I think the shoes we chose really sum up the Summer line of colour and show what a diverse range is in store.

Many thanks to the team at Hotter Stratford for giving me such a lovely relaxed evening after such a busy day.
