The Gallery: Eyes

As soon as I my daughter was born, she seemed familiar. It was like I had always known her. It was her eyes, at times it was like staring into my own eyes.

When the twins were born I had to adjust to having two sets of eyes looking at me, following me around the room. Two sets of eyes watching everything I do. I’m used to it now, but at first it was very disconcerting. Baby eyes follow you everywhere, like a painting by a great master. They seem to notice every time you pick up one twin and leave the other on the floor.

Now they are watching to make sure you don’t give one an extra treat or the toy they both want.
