The Showcase is a place to link up child centered blog posts. It’s full of fun ideas and lots of inspiration for activities to do with your children, I just wish I could do all of them! It was started by Bern at Mum to Two Posh lil Divas and Classified: Mom.

The Sunday Showcase is now being hosted on SIX blogs!

Mom to 2 Posh Lil Divas
Here Come the Girls – (me!)
Inspiration Laboratories
Make Do & Friend (Having a blog break)
The Iowa Farmer’s Wife
Train Up a Child

This means more posts can be featured so make sure you check each of the blogs to see what posts have been chosen.

So without further ado here are my features for the Sunday Showcase. Yay!

The Showcase Features

Taken from last week’s posts

This week I have chosen five fantastic art projects to feature. These are for all ages as every child can work at their own level and show what a diverse range of material you can use to make a piece of art.

Monet’s Waterlillies from Tippytoe Crafts

One of my favourite paintings of all time, recreated beautifully using watercolour techniques.

Shaving Cream Painting from Transatlantic Blonde

If you hate mess this one is for you, make some shaving cream paint to use in the bath and all the mess will wash away!

Spray Bottle Painting from My Buddies and I

This effect looks so pretty – use a spray bottle to create a large painting. Perfect for outside and it looks stunning.

Squeezie Sidewalk Paint from Homeschool Mom

Another outside art activity – paint with squeezie bottles outside. This looks so much fun.

Scrap Animal Collage from MemeTales

Finally a great way to use up scraps. This pig is based on the book Mechanimals by Chris Tougas. While I don’t know the book, this little fella is so cute and the technique would work for lots of other pictures.

This week on Here Come the Girls
