Zugs Carpets for Children Review

You can’t help smiling when you visit the Zugs Website. It is so bright and colourful with such happy smiley faces. I showed the girls the choice of carpets and they just couldn’t pick as they loved them all. It was a choice between the Razzle the Rainbow and Susie Sunbeam – both were so bright and cheerful. In the end they finally agreed on Susie as she would cheer them up and make them think of Summer even when it was raining. Zugs Susie the Sunbeam rug

The carpet arrived really quickly and was incredibly well packaged. As soon as I rolled it out the girls couldn’t wait to sit on it. I think it looks so inviting. The carpet is made from hand-tufted pure wool pile which is so soft to the touch. It is perfect for little feet to play on and really comfy. Children will play on the floor for such a long time it is really important that they are comfortable.

At the moment we just have our Susie carpet in the living room as that is where the girls mostly play but I think this would be great in a play room. You wouldn’t need much other decoration and could keep the rest of the room neutral. Zugs really cheer up any space and make it an inviting place to play.

The patterns are also great for boys or girls. I would love to have one for my classroom when I return to work full time. I think it would make the carpet area really special.

The other thing I like about this company is it’s ethical credentials. As members of the Care and fair network it is against illegal child labour. It is also manufactured to be safe to play on, with 100% pure wool with 100% cotton backing and using non toxic dyes. At £90 these are a great investment for a child’s room. You can tell they will last and last.
